Saida Waheed Gender Initiative Develops Web Scroll Showcasing Student Projects
Saida Waheed Gender Initiative (SWGI) at LUMS brings you “Moving Through this ‘Portal’”, a web scroll showcasing seven student projects about the experiences of women, queer folks, and trans persons amidst the pandemic.
The projects include both academic research and artistic work that look at the pandemic beyond the framework of crisis, and offer new analytic perspectives and experiential insights. By publishing the projects online, SWGI hopes to make this important research accessible to all and start conversations on a range of subjects that have come to the fore during the COVID-19 pandemic.
