Shell Pakistan Conducts Virtual Recruitment Drive
Class of 2022 and 2023 took part in a virtual recruitment drive for Management Trainee and Internship Program on Tuesday, March 8, 2022.
The session was commenced by Ms. Kamilla Bawany, Consultant Human Resources, Talent Acquisition, HR Operations & Employer Branding, Shell, who she gave an overview of the company and also introduced her colleagues. Ms. Nadia Haseeb (MBA 2004), Global Fuels Marketing Manager and LUMS Alum, shared her experience in working in different roles in the Middle East and Pakistan.
Ms. Alisha Sethi, Business Development and Marketing Manager, (Class of 2017) shared her experience of working as a Management Trainee and talked about the support system and the exposure that graduates get at Shell. Innovation, a drive for results, critical thinking, and authenticity are some of the key areas that the organisation is looking in fresh graduates and students.
Ms. Sethi said that the candidates would be tested on their ability to solve problems, the results that they get from assigned tasks, and their relationships with people working around them.
Towards the end, Ms. Bawany explained the recruitment process for Management Trainee and Internship Program which includes application submission followed by a gamified assessment. After that, there will be a screening round, which will be followed by a case study round.
The session concluded with some interactive questions asked by the students about work experience and culture at Shell.
