Virtual Recruitment Drive by Cybernet

Cybernet conducted a virtual recruitment drive on Wednesday, March 17, 2021 for Undergraduate students from the Computer Science, Accounting & Finance, Management Sciences, Social Sciences, Economics and Law programmes.
Faizan Ahmed Khan, LUMS alumnus and HR Business Partner at Cybernet, initiated the session by giving a brief introduction of the company. Cybernet, a part of Lakson Group of Companies, is a leading internet and Data Communication Network Service Provider in Pakistan. He stated that the company provides specialised solutions for different enterprises, including end-to end-solutions, single-site or multi-site data and internet connectivity, wholesale and multi-homed internet solutions, local and International VPN, Backhauling solutions, enterprise voice solutions, Cloud power hosting, disaster recovery, data centre co-location services and Enterprise/SMB web and e-mail solutions.
Then Ms. Bushra Zehra, Management Trainee and LUMS alumna, talked about the functions, divisions and working environment of the Cybernet. Discussing the technical and business functions, she highlighted the working modules of each function.
In the end, Mr. Khan further talked about the values and organisational culture at Cybernet, and discussed the training structure for the professional development of their employees. He stated that the training structure includes challenging assessments that aim to enhance the career path and foster personal growth. He then explained the hiring and application process, imparting details regarding the vacant positions and the expected working roles.
The drive was concluded with an interactive QnA session.
