CSO Arranges Information Session by Pakistan Stock Exchange

The Career Services Office (CSO) at LUMS arranged a session by Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX) on September 20, 2022. The session aimed to create awareness regarding investment in the stock exchange. Mr. Sarmad Hussain, AGM & Regional Head PSX, Lahore talked about the importance of investment and the impact of the economic conditions of Pakistan on savings and investment.
During the one-and-a-half hour session students from different programmes and majors interacted with the guest speaker to know more about investing in the stock exchange. Mr. Hussain guided the students as to how they can create their profile on PSX and connect with brokers for building their investment portfolios.
Mr. Hussain informed the students about recent developments at PSX and innovations that are being introduced to make the process of investment easier. At the end of the session, Mr. Hussain shared his contact details with interested students for further queries.
