It is with inexplicable sadness and a collectively heavy heart that we at LUMS share in the grief of Umar Kitchlew’s passing.
As a graduate of the class of MBA 1996, a valued alumnus, and a close friend of many at LUMS, his death marks a profound loss for the entire community. The University extends its deepest condolences to Umar’s family, colleagues, and friends. May he join the ranks of only the greatest in the Hereafter and may Allah give the bereaved strength and sabr to navigate through this difficult time.
With time, we hope the wonderful memories of Umar help ease the sorrow and pain.
