REDC Conducts Series of Successful Live Online Programmes
The Rausing Executive Development Centre (REDC) at LUMS has been at the forefront in providing world-class executive education. Whether in-person or live online; REDC programmes offer the latest in-practice insights and business knowledge for the leaders of today and tomorrow.
The novel Coronavirus pandemic has rattled the world’s economy. The subsequent challenging business landscape is driving us towards new ways of learning and communicating, which is why REDC launched its first suite of live online programmes this June. These interactive programmes on Project Management, Problem Solving and Decision Making, and Developing Future Leaders received excellent evaluations by programme participants.
Led by renowned faculty at LUMS and fostered with a highly interactive e-learning environment, REDC’s live online programmes help organisations develop leaders who are more resilient, adaptive and better equipped to settle the unsettled business realities as a result of the current global crises.
“The programme has given me very good insight on how I can better organise myself and my team to achieve our goals efficiently. E-learning was a very new experience and also provided a lot of flexibility to participants especially in terms of location,” said Asadullah Ahmed from Siddiq Agricoze (Pvt.) Ltd. and a participant in the Project Management programme.
Using REDC’s hallmark case method pedagogy and interactive learning tools, the programmes offer a high level of engagement through real-time collaboration and exchange of ideas among faculty and the programme’s peer-network through the online platform.
Daniyal Ahmed, who took part in the Problem Solving and Decision Making programme, from Escorts Advanced Textiles, was very appreciative and said, “Being a businessperson with a non-business education, there were many new things and ideas I was exposed to such as using even swaps and data driven management. The experiences and insights shared during the programme about what is happening in the world were also very good.”
REDC’s online platform is designed to facilitate deliberation on real-world business situations allowing you to deal with complex problems and explore prospective solutions in a collaborative e-learning environment.
Using a unique blend of case studies, role plays and experiential exercises, the programme on problem solving and decision making provided the participants with an opportunity to acquire skills and techniques essential for making high quality decisions and solving problems effectively.
Accessible from anywhere across the globe, these expertly designed programmes take you on a virtual journey of continued learning, where you gain powerful knowledge that can help you and your organisation grow.
Munira Jaffery from HBL, who took part in the Developing Future Leaders programme said, “It was a wonderful experience discussing personal and interpersonal characteristics and best practices to follow in our daily routine. All the instructors were fully capable in their areas and were successful in engaging the team in an online session.”
Umar Habib from Jazz and a participant of Developing Future Leaders also expressed his satisfaction and said, “Great faculty with amazing skills. Every session was better than the previous one. Congratulations for maintaining such a high standard in the online environment.”
