PosterMyWall conducted their virtual recruitment drive on Monday, March 1, 2021 via Zoom, in which they targeted BSc Computer Science students from the class of 2021.
The session was initiated by Mr. Jaffer Haider, Co-founder of PosterMyWall and LUMS alumnus from the batch of 2006. Mr. Haider introduced himself and then provided a brief history about the company, which is essentially a cloud-based graphic design solution that helps enterprises create customised content, headers, and posters for various social media platforms and marketing campaigns. It enables users to import custom fonts into the system and download image and video templates from the built-in library.
PosterMyWall was co-founded in 2010, and since then has grown into a platform with 8 million users who have created over 45 million designs. He stated that their objective is to simplify graphic design for marketers and businesses by enabling them to create a poster within minutes, with easy-to-use tools.
Mr. Haider then shared the available opportunities for full-stack software engineers to join their core product development team in Lahore. He discussed the complete hiring process along with the eligibility criteria, and encouraged young talent to apply accordingly.
The drive was concluded with an interactive QnA session.
