Fall Programmes at REDC; A Time of Learning and Innovation
The Rausing Executive Development Centre (REDC) at LUMS continued to impart executive-level programmes to senior executives and officials working with various public and private organisations, throughout the fall months. The programmes which were modelled to be COVID-19 compliant, following the requisite SOPs and rigorous testing, were held in-person, as well as in the hybrid and online formats to facilitate the participants.
REDC carried out several open enrolment programmes and customised learning collaborations throughout the fall months. Some of the programmes include: Sales Force Management, Developing Future Leaders, Finance for Non-finance Managers, Building Blocks of Human Resource Management, Strategic Procurement Management, and Building High-performance Teams.
As a premier executive education provider in the country, REDC provides the unique advantage of cultivating and offering joint learning and networking opportunities for industry experts, executives and senior academics. Professionals and faculty come together to share experiences and the latest in theory and practice.
Fawad Ahmed Khatri, from Trax Logistics, shared his positive experience and said, “It is an amazing and knowledgeable programme. It was properly managed and well planned throughout.”
“It is a wonderful programme covering all the realities of Human Resource Management. This programme has broadened my knowledge base,” noted Khawar Saeed, an employee at Atlas Power.
With the summer heat now letting up, the use of REDC’s outdoor facilities enhance the programme experience in the beautiful and serene campus grounds, and also provide a relaxed environment for the executives to carry out discussions during their tea breaks.
“It is a very good approach to teaching in a nice environment,” shares Muhammad Ramzan Shaheen, who works for Bata Pakistan Limited. “I am taking away many insights, which will be helpful in my future job.” Rushna Fawad, from Evacuee Trust Property Board, adds, “It was an extraordinary experience with an absolutely new array of insights and knowledge. A new world of procurement was explored.”
Salman Mansoor, from Fatima Fertilizer Company Limited, also expressed his appreciation for REDC and said, “They have experienced professors, an engaging programme and executives from diverse backgrounds.”
With a range of dynamic programme offerings and interactive learning experiences, REDC has managed to stay current with the ever-changing requirements of its market, and continues to expand learning opportunities beyond traditional models. With an extended portfolio of live, in-person and hybrid courses, as well as developing new courses to address the needs of corporate and public sector executives in a changing world, the Centre aims to continue its journey of innovation to suit the needs of the leaders and managers of tomorrow.
