Advancing Student Wellbeing: Highnoon Laboratories Supports New Futsal Facility at LUMS
On January 30, 2026, LUMS hosted representatives of Highnoon Laboratories for the signing of an agreement formalising their support for the construction of a new futsal facility on campus. As part of this partnership, the facility will be named the Highnoon Futsal Court, reflecting Highnoon’s commitment to promoting student wellbeing, sports, and community engagement at LUMS.
The agreement was signed by Dr. Adeel Abbas, Co-Chairman & CEO, Highnoon Laboratories, and Dr. Ali Cheema, Vice Chancellor, LUMS. Also in attendance was Mr. Zulfiqar Zaidi, Group Director, HR & Strategic Planning.
Expressing his appreciation for the partnership, Dr. Ali Cheema shared, “We are happy to have Highnoon here supporting developmental activities at LUMS. Initiatives like the futsal facility are deeply valued by our students, who are genuinely excited about the addition of spaces that promote wellbeing and sports on campus.”
Highlighting the broader impact, Dr. Adeel Abbas stated, "By partnering with LUMS, Highnoon seeks to contribute to a campus environment that values health, balance, and personal growth. This initiative represents our belief that enriching life begins with empowering young people to lead healthier, more active lives."
